Toy Town

I always think Whitby looks like Toy Town from this view half way up ‘the steps’.
As we are staying at the top of the steps near the Abbey we are getting plenty of exercise going up and down them .
So far we have counted the steps up to the Abbey at 194, 196 and 198!
After early morning rain we delayed setting out until after 10.00am when it had stopped.
Ended up with some rather welcome sunshine.
We walked to Sandsend had a coffee then walked back and into town and booked a meal for this evening.
20,000+ steps so far l believe.
Will be missing Strictly but will catch up when we get home tomorrow afternoon.
