Stepping out

Grandsons arrived yesterday afternoon .
We all went out for a walk to the river then called in at Kitty’s school on the way back as the Wharfedale Art Competition was on display there and we were delighted to see she had won first prize for her textile work.
Her embroidery was impressive.
We then went into Otley for waffles and milkshakes for the boys and coffee for us.
A quick shop at Waitrose, now home watching the rugby and looking forward to going to the village bonfire and firework display tonight.
Recording Strictly, will watch that when we get back while eating pizza.
