First Time

A tiny form of Crocus laevigatus raised from seed sown six years ago, flowering for the first time.  Think it's worth the wait.

A 48 hour ambulatory ECG for Jamie meant an early visit to the hospital.  An unusual one too - we were parked, in and out again inside the 30 minute free parking allowance :-)   A visit from Jamie's school mentor this afternoon meant the rest of the day has been small chunks of time.  A little work done in the garden, some seed sorting indoors plus the usual chores.  A minor farce at the end of the day when Jamie's youth club evening was curtailed when cooking vegetables for soup set off the fire alarm, the off switch for which was located in a part of the building inaccessible to the club team.  Since when did cooking soup set off a fire alarm!!!   First time for everything I guess :-)
