Rosslyn Chapel

I am one of thousands who have read Dan Brown's 'Da Vinci Code' but until today I have never visited Rosslyn Chapel which features near the end of the book.

The Chapel, which is much small than I expected, is beautiful both inside and out .... sadly photography is not permitted inside the chapel without prior permission from the historian which of course we didn't have :-((

The Chapel built in the 15thC is in the Gothic style of architecture.The stonework with its mysterious symbolism is amazing.

The extra is one of the beautiful stained glass windows in Peebles Old Parish Church.
