Walking to Comes

I went out with the walking group today from the pretty village of Eus to the ruined village of Comes.  It was a steady but undemanding climb with lovely views over the valley to Canigou, 10k with 431 metres of ascent. There was a flock of sheep under the ruined village.  I didn't see the Pyrenean patou mountain guard dog but there were smaller dogs keeping us at a distance.
