Weather to blip this or not?

I am absolutely fascinated by the weather and it seemed apt today when it was the main focus of the news that I took a picture of my weather station. This is the main unti which sits in my kitchen and it links wirelessly to an Anemometer, pluviometer and an themometer which are all out in my garden. It really appeals to my inner statistician geek. I like to record the data on a daily basis in my weather diary. Seems this year that I have recorded lots of low pressure and rain! From a practical point of view, it is nice to know the temperature to gauge just how many layers to put on when heading out for a bike ride or a run.

With the exception of the part where I was chipping away at the coalface with my toffee hammer, today turned out to be an awesome day. Started out with a great cyclefit session in the gym, nice wee mix with a few new tracks (particularly enjoyed Rhianna's umbrella as a slow, deep, hard mountain climb) and ended with a dark belgian chocolate tartlet with berry compote - is it possible for a day to start and end in a better way, I think not.....
