Rose bed blues (and yellows)

I realise that I have not blipped many roses much this year.  They are not doing so well; something just isn’t working for them.  “Compassion” is following “Peace” on its way out.  ‘Tam O’Shanter” is a ghost of its former self. “Graham Thomas” is doing OK and at least it has furnished the blip for today.  The “Ruby Anniversary” trio has long gone and “Alex Cocker” didn’t even try to stick around.  Dark thoughts are emerging about the future of the rose bed.  Another job to add to the ever expanding garden to-do list.  Just as well I enjoy it.
