Gala

As reported on previous blips, the apples have been tremendous this year.  There are still some on the trees though, given the forecast, they won’t be there for long.  The most productive tree had apples with lovely pink veins in its flesh.  As is evident in the blip, it looks wonderful.  I think it is the variety Gala and it doesn’t taste bad either.
 
I did some volunteering on the festival box office today.  We’ve gone all e-ticketing.  Remember the days when you would go in with some paper money and come out with a paper ticket?  Bring them back!
