An unusual harvest

The rain has stopped but it is still damp and cloudy. After the cabin fever of yesterday, I decided to walk down to the supermarket by a different route and saw a couple foraging in the field.  Had I been a few minutes earlier I would have had two splendid parasol mushrooms for lunch.  The young woman was not collecting mushrooms but cacti. She thought they must have been discarded and taken root.  Anyway, she allowed me to the a picture and get today's blip.
