On the road to Emmaus ... again

A very long morning then a mad dash to deal with the rest of the "to do" list that had to be done, had to leave some of the items. Then a mad dash to pack. I was late setting off as usual. 

Over the Pennines, past Mum's (I did wave!) and on to Pickering to meet a friend. I arrived with 8 mins to spare on our deadline for  the meal we had booked out so it was out of my car and in to hers. We went to the same micro brewery as last year.

We had a lovely meal and catch up. Looking forward to a good few days together (better than last year!).

Just realised that I took a sunset on my way last year (day before link) and that the start of my write up was almost the same! 

Chance to rest now and recharge the batteries for a couple of weeks ... I need it!
