Of course it was raining!

Saturday 13th October 2018

I could have predicted it was going to rain today months ago ... because I had booked a walk for the Walking Group. It was pouring this morning but no-one rang to say they weren't coming. It forced me to get up and get to the hall for 9.30am. They were all togged up and waiting ... but we agreed it was madness to go. They just hadn't wanted to let me down! We cancelled the walk but decided to regroup at 12.30pm to go for the lunch anyway. It was lovely to have that time of fellowship together, despite not getting a walk. 

The extra couple of hours this morning was really handy to assist with the "to do" list. Back home now, well fed, I am hoping for a productive afternoon/evening.
