Fête de la Châtaigne

There are chestnuts everywhere at the moment.  It was, therefore, the annual Fête de la Châtaigne today with hot chestnuts, a cobla band, foodie stalls and a livestock auction.  The promised rain held off which was very fortunate.  Tonight we will be using a voucher, kindly given to us by our friends, for a meal out at the local restaurant.
