Chilling in the bath

This is the first time I've had the chance to have a bath with Maple. She absolutely loved it (And adores her baths in general). Bailee came in and straight away undressed herself and climbed in..... the water got a little higher and then of course Oscar came to join the party!

We had a reasonably chilled out day today. We let the twins sleep for two hours for their nap (Consequently they took forever to go to sleep tonight!). We then went to the Marina Mall and all had a ride on the train. After that it was time to do a bit of Christmas shopping. We got Bailee and Oscar's friend Teyah a gift and then disaster struck when Oscar spotted 'James' from Thomas the Tank Engine. He got VERY upset when we left the shop without it and through his biggest tantrum to date (I could actually count the sum of his tantrums on my left hand). We decided that we wouldn't buy it as we had foolishly given in the last couple of times (i.e. Lightening McQueen Incident) and apart from not wanting to reinforce demanding behaviour, we don't want our children to think they can get everything they want when they want it!

The screaming and crying continued until we got to the supermarket and Stuart put Oscar into the trolly. Then Bailee took over the screaming as she wanted a ride in the trolly! The whole supermarket trip the screaming continued until Oscar swapped his seat in the trolly with Bailee at the checkout. On a positive, we managed a big shop with lot's of stock for next weeks meals. We also got an advent calendar for each of the twins (Hidden away).
