4 months old today!

We can't believe it! Maple is 4 months old and we have been in Dubai for 4 months + 2 nights!

Maple had her vaccinations :-( and was weighed for the first time in 8 weeks on Tuesday. She has put on almost 2kg in those 8 weeks and is now 7.21 kg (15lb, 14oz). Not bad at all, I swear I still produce for twins!

The paediatrician was very impressed with her development. I knew everything was more than ok but it is nice to record some of these things in her baby book :-)

Maple has certainly settled well into our family. She really does bring us all much joy. I just love the giggles that have developed over the past month. I also love watching her reach out and pull things, and laughed last night when I woke up and found she had flipped onto her tummy in our bed!

We had a busy day today. Oscar and Bailee joined in with the actions particularly well today at Kindermusik. In the afternoon we had a nice playdate with our adorable twin friends. They have a HUGE backyard and Oscar and Bailee had fun playing on their cars and trikes as well as finding treasures in the garden! We had an awful taxi experience getting there as the driver did not speak english, could not read directions and didn't know where to go. After driving around in circles for a pathetic amount of time I told him we needed to stop and get another taxi. At that point he miraculously found the way.... I was just furious and even swore in front of my kids for the first time!
