'supper'

Tonight's meal was going to be along the lines of a fish finger sandwich in front of the telly as Carl is at a governor meeting and the kids ate earlier. But dear friends, Sara and Jeremy, who we don't see anyway near enough have a rare free night in London and asked if they could drop in for 'supper'. Not quite as cheeky as it sounds - they did offer to bring food but as Sara called when I was in Sainsburys it seemed silly not to pick something up. Especially as Jeremy had a hand op yesterday so is one hand down so I bought the ingredients for risotto. And here it is. And definitely needs my attention.

I'm a tiny bit sad at losing my night on the sofa as I am feeling dog tired but people win out and it will be so lovely to see them.
