The arrival of autumn

This morning it was blowing a gale and so leaves were blowing all over the place. You can see a few blurry airborne leaves in the photo. I also got a few cracks to the head from falling horse chestnuts!

This is a bit of an emergency blip, as I had hoped to go out again this afternoon. Unfortunately, I was delayed in the car park of a well known DIY store when a lady swung her tank car into the space next to me and scraped my car :(   We did exchange details, but when I got home I managed (miraculously) to polish out the scuff marks and there was no dent at all. After all that, I think a glass or two of something red is required.
