Pampas

A taster session at Rock Choir this morning. A super morning to walk into town, crisp, clear with blue skies. Not a cloud all day. The walk home past the pampas grass provided today’s blip.

Enjoyed Rock Choir, people very friendly and enthusiastic. Very talented choir leader. We were learning to sing “Footloose” a song from a film I am given to understand which stared someone called Kevin Bacon. I’m hoping Rock Choir will improve my singing to accompany the ukulele. Anything to help will be a bonus.

After lunch a quick visit to the garden centre (in full Christmas mode) to buy a new fork as a prelude to an afternoon at the allotment digging potatoes and battling weeds. A disappointing harvest of spuds owing to the extreme dryness earlier in the year and our lack watering. Better than nothing though.
