An Ice-Cream Serenade

Following a necessary trip to Cromer this afternoon.  M and I headed for the sea front to make the most of the glorious late afternoon sunshine.  We treated ourselves to an ice-cream and whilst M enjoyed his rum and raisin flavour and a salted caramel one for me, we were serenaded by this starling sitting on top of a ‘No-Entry’ road sign.  He was in fine voice, his enthusiastic trilling and singing sounded loud and clear and with the sparkling sea in front of us and the warmth of the sun on our backs it was a happy moment to relish before we headed home.
