Talent

Teaching these students is an absolute joy.  Last year she was playing solo passages from Mendelssohn's violin concerto. Today I learned she wants to study bio-engineering at uni next year. 

In other news: the weather made a surprisingly unwelcome turn for the worse after a night of raging winds blowing a symphony through the trees outside my bedroom window, today was grey, wet and appallingly cold. Also in other news: just booked a flight to Azerbaijan for four days at the end of October. Going back to Baku to see Robin for the long weekend.
