Forbidden Corner
Today on our North Yorkshire holiday, we spent the morning at Jervaulx Abbey ruins, before making our way through to Forbidden Corner.
This is a modern take on the follies that can be found in places like the gardens at Chatsworth. We were expecting to find some nice photographic composite fodder, but we weren't expecting it to be quite so much fun! We had a great time, exploring around the attraction. They don't provide you with a map, just a list of things to tick off that you've seen. Exploring is the name of the game - there are often multiple paths through each room.
There are lots of speech recordings and lighting effects that play when you enter rooms, and often things squirt water at you - sometimes completely unexpectedly!
More in the extras - recommended if you're into this sort of thing!
