Tears, lack of understaning, frustration, annoyance at continuous repetition. Such is homework time with me sometimes. Child #2's first attempt to complete a task wherein she had to find the half of a number, multiple times took 4 mins 35 seconds. After the explanation finally sank in, we whittled that down to 1 minute 40 seconds and with a couple more bits of practise we had it mastered at 38 seconds.

I really love the resilience and determination of my daughter who doesn't give up.

Badminton was great in the evening, the return for a visit of old Alec the 85 year old who has had a stent fitted recently. He will however be playing next week.
