Christmas cards

Last day of prep before my first craft fair as the Messy Mama and I am right up against it! And because I have been so preoccupied with trying to get everything done, and Steve is feeling less than great plus knackered from staying up into the small hours every night this week, the boys have not been fed properly today and as a result bedtime has been horrendous, I've hardly got anything done, and still have a list of jobs as long as my arm to get done before morning....

Had a lovely bit of time out today though, took Charley to see some friends for lunch which he was quite happy about! He stole fruit out of their kitchen to have with his lunch. Then charmed all the old ladies going round the supermarket and craft stores.

Charley was exhausted by 6pm and fell asleep on me downstairs. He allowed himself to be transfered to the sofa - evidently decided that was it for the day. Wailed when he woke up, got cleaned up and went to bed!

Ben has been tired and hungry all afternoon, he snacked when he got home from school, had several hundred stories read to him by Steve, declared he was tired, went to bed and then cried hard every time I went to leave. Very out of character - he was SO hungry. He's been downstairs for cheese sauce and pasta and has gone to sleep proper on the sofa.

Steve is helping me prepare.... at least currently all my stock is actually made, it's just the peripherals that need doing like packaging and presentation and stuff and that's almost as much work as the stock itself and not nearly as enjoyable!
