Curled tongue anyone?

Yet another bright but cold morning took us down to the river again, once I had defrosted the car that is. I so prefer these days to the dank mizzle which is due to return!

It seemed that everyone and his wife, sons, daughters, grannies etc had the same idea as the path was very, very busy, which is good - in a way. I get so used to having the countryside to myself that I become a wee bit territorial about it. We met the same three golden retrievers but thankfully no mad setter this time. Among other shots I took I was trying to get an arty capture of all the leaves floating on the surface of the water when guess who decided to put herself in the frame too. She is just so inquisitive and I nearly ditched the shot.. However, when I got home and put this on the PC I chuckled and decided to share it with you.
PS. Since initially publishing I had another look at my photos from today and noticed that there was a a better one of Cara and her tongue lurking there unnoticed (!) so I have changed the image - apologies but it is very similar.

Thank you so much for the stars and hearts for yesterday's autumn blip.
