Wet, wet, wet

A lot of rain last night!

So, I thought I might take a photo of my garden. Unfortunately this is one section of it which is really suffering from the rain as you can see. Usually a very fine Hosta lives here - luckily a plant which loves boggy areas! So I am hoping that while it is in hibernation under the ground it is not too bothered by having not only its feet but its entire self surrounded by water!

Apart from that sorry sight I had a most enjoyable long walk with the dogs this morning and they loved it. Luckily it didn't rain while we were out, but made up for it the moment we arrived home. Both dogs were really muddy in the undercarriage department but they were happy.
