Lara meets her kinder class
Miss Maddie loves clothes, not just any clothes NEW clothes, if you ever see her in an outfit more than once it must be very special to her. Birthdays and christmas she will always ask for dresses and skirts, even though she probably has the entire summer range from most stores. If all else fails and she can't seem to find any thing she likes in her wardrobe she will raid her little sisters clothes. Like this morning I had picked an outfit for Miss Lara that she had received for her birthday, Miss Lara took one look at it and said no I don't like it, I only like pink dresses, (of course you do) why would you be easy today. Miss Maddie disappear around the corner while I took Lara to pick her own outfit easier then me going through her entire wardrobe while she said NO to everything I picked out. When I came back down stairs, Miss Maddie re appeared in the outfit Lara had discarded. I don't know how she managed to squeeze herself in to Lara's size 3 clothes but she paraded around in it, the dress looking like a mini dress. I love this mum!!!!
I was not letting her out of the house like that, usually I turn a blind eye but she just looked ridiculous. At least she is more mild tempered and didn't put up a fuss when I told her to go and change. Minutes later she reappeared dressed as a fairy!! ok I can deal with that at least.
Lara was excited to be seeing all her new kinder friends today at the school for a get together. A meet and greet. Miss Maddie was very very causious which I find extremely funny, as she knows this school very well and and she is the oldest of the 3,she was dragging me outside to watch her play on the monkey bars, Miss Bailee and Lara happily skipped off with a few friends not even bothering to see if I was watching them. Maddie was checking to see if I was watching every few minutes. After a while she became involved in a game with the other kids, so I snuck in side to grab my camera, in this short time from me stepping in to the classroom she came running over crying and panicking looking for me. It was a matter of minutes, but she still must have been glancing over to see if I was standing there. Another mum carried her in to me where she dissolved and asked why I had left. Bailee and Lara were oblivious to any of this, and were happily chasing the other kids around.
Lara found Bella, and they followed each other around the playground, waiting for each other to take turns down the slide, and moving on to the next thing to play on. Climbing up and over this pine wall, stopping and helping each other along the way. Bella's dress kept getting stuck so lara was trying to hold it up. Without much luck they settled for lara climbing to the top and Bella waiting down the bottom for her to return. They then scattered of to the metal chain bridge which was a accomplishment for such little legs to do. I stood back and watched with baited breath while the two little independent souls navigated themselves around this. To my amazement they both manage to get themselves up and over it with out getting hurt.
Spoke to Lara's kinder teacher and It will be fine to start transiting her tomorrow.
