Backblip - Sunday at Shrewsbury Folk Festival

It poured with driving rain all day making parts of the site clagged with mud. It is not easy to camp with a toddler in the rain but my son did a wonderful job. Evidence that she enjoyed it is the extra photo. 

We took her to the Under 4's play area where she had lots of activities to keep her amused. 

In the afternoon the band led another 3 hour session in the  bar on the Festival site which was well attended. The acoustics are not brilliant in a large space but it gives people chance to play along if they don't want to go into town. (Main photo).

The highlight of the concert spots was Banter. They were at the festival last year and were so good that they returned and played for two ceilidhs as well as the concert.
