At Elvaston Castle Country Park

Len and Geoffrey took the bus to Trent Bridge for the third day of the Test Match against India. Len described the action as turgid as it merely consisted of India placing the ball and scoring runs.

In the meantime, Gill, Basil and I motored to Elvaston Castle Country Park just southeast of Derby, a dog walker's paradise. Photo is of Gill with Basil on the driveway leading to the castle.

The kitchen/country garden was as gorgeous as when I visited in June, albeit with different flowers. See extras.

We had a super light lunch at Wyatts where I was even able to have a toasted ciabatta. I bought a huge slice of gluten free lemon cake to bring home. It remains uneaten, so far.
