Simba!
George has hankered to emulate the story of the Lion King, in which Mufasa takes his newborn son Simba to the lion rock, to present his son to the world and his people.
Today was the day for George and William to re-enact the scene. Kat was anxious as William was fretful and tired.
We met at Cademan Wood near Whitwick where a trig point lies on top of a rock outcrop.
Two walkers passed by and then George took William up to the rock and lifted him to the sky. It did stop William crying for a short while. As you can see, Basil got in on the act too.
It was a lovely day.
Basil would have liked to have lingered. He is rather a rock dog. Instead, we drove home for a cup of tea.
I have battled all day with a stuttering iMac, turning it on and off repeatedly to try to get it to run relatively smoothly. I think it must be a software conflict. Chrome has known problems and I had to reinstall Creative Cloud the other day. If anyone has any ideas on the problem, please let me know. I suspect I shall have to resort to Apple Support.
