Port Appin Structures. The Red Fort

The Red Fort Indian Restaurant model was inspired by the Estate Agents property at 45 Stuart Street, Millport, Gt. Cumbrae.  I really enjoyed making those bay windows and got a great deal of satisfaction when, at the third attempt they fitted!

There is a Red Fort in Keswick, and I think I was in one of that name in Glasgow, many years ago.

As Indian food seems to have taken over in the UK as the most popular take-away carry-oot food it seemed appropriate that Port Appin should have one.  To balance things out it also has a fish and chip shop and an ice cream parlour.

If the weather tomorrow is as glaur as today that will be my next Blip.
