Port Appin Structures. Teuchter's Landing
Port Appin needed a pub so I built a typical 'city' style bar based on The Grassmarket aka Christies in the Grassmarket area in Edinburgh. The name comes from a bar and restaurant in Leith in the old Shipping Company offices. The most intricate parts of this model are the entrances which I've built in depth. Nearly drove me barmy until I decided to build them separately and then fit them into the shell on completion. Quite pleased with the frosted glass effects and the 3D Tennent's 'T' sign outside the LH door. It's another building that doesn't feature often in Port Appin Blips.
The extra shows the door a bit closer - remember in real model scale this door is only 15mm wide.
Monday's building Blip will be The Indian Restaurant.
