Fossil Trail

This morning was lovely and sunny. We had a relaxing morning on the campsite. I had a first swim in the pool, which was lovely until too many people arrived.
This afternoon it clouded up again so we headed out for a walk. 1000m up, we went on a fossil trail, with fossils of sea mammals in the rock, protected by glass panels. You can see fossilised bones and a jaw bone with teeth in the bottom picture.
At one point we were walking in thunder, lightning and rain.
After food shopping, we arrived back at a very wet campsite in torrential rain! Hope it’s better tomorrow.
