If you go down to the sea today...

Another beautiful day in Northumberland so we headed out to the beach. First stop Bamburgh Castle, present since Viking times, and remodelled over the years. Bought by William Armstrong of Cragside ( yesterday) fame in 1894, it’s certainly a stunning location. We found Ross Back Sands as recommended which was lovely and well worth the trip. We even paddled trying to avoid the jellyfish! Finally took a walk to Dunstanburgh ruins.
