If you’re thinking of coming to Northumberland in the summer, be warned... the beaches get pretty crowded.
We took a bus going south and let the driver drop us off somewhere below Amble where we could join the coastal path. Ended up in Alnmouth and got the bus home. 14.5 miles in total.
