Lovely day with the family celebrating Barbara and David’s 40th Ruby Wedding anniversary.

Bridesmaids from 40 years ago reunited with the bride and groom for a recreation of one of the original wedding photographs.

The hot weather just couldn’t last one more day. Rain in the morning gave way to a blustery, sunny and much cooler day. The sunny interlude allowed David to barbecue outside in the sunshine. By early evening the rain set in with a vengeance with temperatures falling away to around 11c.

With 5 grand children milling around, it was a lively afternoon and evening but great fun.
