The flower and the bee

Stayed up late after a disappointing quiz.
Nor did we win the £999 "Play your cards right" either :-/ I was still awake at 3.15, just couldnt switch off!

Got up just after 9, not the brightest button today, but we walked into town, had coffee and a sandwich in Reds, before collecting one or two things we needed. Been living in shorts lately, so warm today, especially this afternoon, guessing its been 32 or thereabouts!

We decided to have a little BBQ this evening, which we enjoyed with a bottle of chilled white wine. The blinking "jaspers" are starting to appear now ( that's wasps to you, its just what Ive always called them !!)

Todays blip is just a little bee on a little lavender......thought it was quite pretty for Flower Friday, thanks to Bikerbear for her continuing hosting :-)

Its almost 10pm now and I am still so warm.......fresh bed linen on today :-)
Think it will be another cool shower before bed!

Still forecasting rain, but for tomorrow now, we shall see........
