Docks, dips and degrees

Slept ok..ish, woke early, first the bin men, then the bin cleaner man, then the builder over the road and last but not least, the window cleaners!!!

We visited New Brighton for the first time today. A drive under the Mersey, a slightly strange feeling....... was busy but once we parked up and walked along the promenade, away from the ameneties, it soon quietened down.

Todays blip is a real juxtaposition of a shot, a beach scene with Liverpool docks as its backdrop! I have added a couple of extras. I was torn between this and the saxophonist, think Ive chosen the right one?! The light today was pretty good, especially this afternoon, as some darker clouds gathered, by the temperature remained 30 degrees!

We clocked up another 14k steps today, enjoyed a sandwich and coffee in Costa, oh, and a "Lolly ice" as they say in Liverpool ;-)

We will be off out again this evening, pub quiz time. The "play your cards right" competition will have to be won tonight, otherwise it will exceed the "gambling" limit of £1,000..... question is do I feel lucky?!!!!!!!
