We are Family

We've had a great day at the beach, we got there at 10.30am, stopped off at the little beach shop to buy buckets and spades and ended up getting an inflatable for the girls that had two dolphins either side of a float.  Rach bought a parasol and we also got some beach shoes for the girls.

We set our towels down on the beach and Scarlett and I spent a lot of time in the sea, it was really warm and very clear.  I'd bought the inflatable for the girls to share, but Violet preferred to play with it out of the water rather than in it.  It's very rare that I go in the sea, but it was wonderful!

We had lunch at the White Horse pub and then went to Elif's to see her and Luca.  The girls both wanted to hold him, so we put him on the sofa between the two of them and I've added an extra of Scarlett and Luca. 

The four of us went in the hot tub when we got home but within no time it started raining heavily and also there was thunder and lightening in the distance.  There was something quite nice about being sat in it in the rain, although we went inside before the lightening got any closer.

I think we're all tired tonight, so reckon we'll be having an early night!
