A Green in the Green

How exciting to turn a corner and see a green heron sitting on a log. And, even more exciting when he/she skimmed across the top of the green gunk to snare a small fish.

I wonder how it is to only have one or two things on your daily menu.

HE: "Honey, what do you want for breakfast?"

SHE: "How about fish?"

HE: "Darling, what do you want for lunch?"

SHE: "Oh...I don't know. Fish?"

HE: "Sweetums, what do you want for dinner?"

SHE: "WOULD IT KILL YOU TO GET ME A SMALL FROG? I'M SICK OF FISH!"

Things that make you go...hmmmmmmm.
