A Heron Flyby

With the temperature reaching 94F today, I've been waiting to take pictures until almost sunset. Still...at 7 p.m., it was holding on at 91F.

I was shooting a giant white egret when I saw this blue heron coming my way. I got off 5 shots, with only two in focus. Look at the horizon line. Oh my...guess I didn't have time to straighten out the camera.
