Home grown...

We're in Sawston, Cambs, to visit Joff and Andréa. The journey took double the usual time but the diversion to avoid a one hour delay on M11, although longer in distance, kept us moving.

First stop was the allotment and despite the very dry conditions we managed a good trug full of vegetables and salad for dinner tonight.

Lovely meal in their beautiful garden which is so full of character. Lots of little areas and walkways, colour schemes and mixed veg and flower beds.

Great to see and enjoy the finished extension too.
