I hate shopping

These giant Christmas decorations are supposed to cheer us while we shop and put us in a buying frame of mind.
I made a half-hearted start on Christmas shopping today, wandering about the mall with Christmas carols ringing in my ears. No inspiration at all - it's all so boring!
After trailing about with no success I was relieved to call it a day, and driving home through the lanes with Classic FM for company soon revived my spirits.
Maybe I should do all my shopping on line?
