Red oak

These are leaves on a red oak. In an autumn that has given us outstanding tree colours, this little red oak is not performing as well as usual with most branches a dull brown - this branch was specially selected! This is a eighteen year old specimen at the edge of our local playing field, and friends will like to know that it is an Anna tree.
