The Spectrum

It is now twenty years old, but The Spectrum Leisure Centre in Guildford looks as fresh as the day it was opened. It is a striking design with lots of glass, and it houses four swimming pools an ice rink and ten pin bowling amongst other things.
I was there for ten pin bowling with the WI. We took three lanes and while not very expert we had a good time. The least said about my own performance the better! Perhaps I should bowl more than once a year.
