Skipping along

We had a trip out to one of the best local butterfly sites, and saw a great many including Meadow Brown, Ringlet, Gatekeeper, Small White, Large White, Marbled White, Small Skipper, Speckled Wood, Peacock, Small Tortoiseshell, Dark Green Fritillary, and Small Copper. This is a small Skipper and I'm putting a Ringlet and a Peacock in extras.
Meanwhile, back in the garden, we are now having nightly visits from a hedgehog. I've been putting food out when I see it arrive so that the food doesn't get eaten by cats or the badger, but I've ordered a hedgehog house, which will ensure the food is taken by the hedgehog, and perhaps it will consider moving in.
