‘Diamond Beach’, Iceland.
As the glacier Vatnajökull glacier breaks up, chunks of it enter the Jökulsárlón lagoon, and from there they slowly make their way out to sea. Some end up marooned on the nearby beach. It’s a sight quite unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.
Morning: Svartifoss and a long hike in Skaftafell.
Afternoon: glacier lagoons.
