2018 Friday — in an Abalone Garden

We enjoyed lunch at the Bridge Street Cafe in Cambria today and this is the portion of the garden right next to our table. Mr. Fun really likes abalone shells, so I took this photo for him. There is an abalone farm just north of Cayucos on the coast and some day maybe we’ll get to tour the place.

After lunch we visited the farmers market to purchase a couple jars of soup from Stephanie, our soup chef, and we took a quick stroll through the Cambria Public Library, which is just across the street from the farmers market.

Then we drove north to the William R. Hearst Memorial State Beach. We think it is one of the most beautiful beaches on California’s shores. Our pups love walking it’s curved shoreline.
