Malham Cove

A lovely trip over to Malham for a long relaxed lunch with Mrs IttHs brother and his wife, heaving as you'd expect but the Lister Arms was fabulous, well recommended.
Then a wander up to the cove... I'd worried the climbers would make me wistful, but there's a bird ban in force at present. Sadly we didn't manage to see the Peregrine Chicks.

On the drive over we were delayed on the single track road across the Moors, stuck behind two cars with the wonderful Highland Coos on the road. After a good few minutes it was clear the people in front were doing nothing, so I got out and shoo'd the super friendly docile beasts along. The poor lady in the lead car was is tears, each to their own.
