Early

Well, that was quite a day. 

It started just before 5am. Don’t ask me why. I don’t know. So, I had my morning coffee by the sea again. I got a Blip too. 6am, or thereby. It’s weird going all day without thinking of what the Blip is going to be!

Work was full of lovely surprises. 

The Boss brought in a strawberry tart made with strawberries from his garden (a home grown cucumber for each of us too). Of the four of us there today, the Goth is vegan (so no gelatine), the Manager is on a strict diet, and the Syrian is gluten intolerant. I eat pretty much everything, so the tart did not go to waste.

Then the Teenager phoned to tell us she passed her driving test today.   

When I got home I found a cheque for a very worthwhile tax repayment - completely unexpected. It’s more than enough to cover the cost of the new MacBook I had to buy last week. 

Next? I just have to find a way to stay awake until bedtime.
