Friday has been gentler on the soul than the other work days, as usual.

Even finalising a VAT return didn't spoil the mood. Realising I'll be getting a refund helped.  

After lunch I had my annual check up at the optician - no change, so more good news. 

Now it's time to start planning the weekend proper. I don't have many commitments, so it's almost a blank sheet of paper. One confident prediction is that football will not feature.

Gardening will have to be done, but it won't be a two day affair. The Blip is the rose bush at my front door. It's reliable and mostly takes care of itself, but it's having a good year.
