Birsay, breezy (Day 1156)

In a change from the pattern of the last little while, work this morning was changing a couple of sets of taps which the customer had supplied themselves. Changing the first set was remarkably straightforward, the second tap was anything but simple. I had to cut the old tap off the sink, before footering around under the sink trying to get the badly designed tap fixing to work. To add to the whole joyous experience, when I turned the water on the low pressure hot water barely trickled from the spout of the tap. I suspect there will be a call shortly to change the tap to something which works.
After lunch at home with my beautiful wife, we decided a wander at Birsay was a good plan. The strong breeze was a little chilly, but the colours were fantastic in the sunshine.
